He trained for four years at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) in New York studying both Herbs and acupuncture. After graduation, he spent seven years working with Dr Charles Gerson at the Mind Body Digestive Center.
His passion is “knotty” cases where the answer is not readily apparent. Jon prefers the light Japanese style of acupuncture which he learned from Hideo Takahashi. He uses a modified Dashin system on his most complex cases. He has performed almost 15,000 treatments since 2001. He has worked with patients with issues ranging from infertility to Crohn’s disease, to simple back pain.
In his free time Jon competes in ultra and mud races and recently finished third out of 1100 runners at the MudmanX competition and 2nd at the NJ trail series 100K. His favorite race is the Bear mountain 50 miler. Jon also studied Tai Chi with Master Don Ahn.
