Jonathan Simon L.Ac, NCCAOM Certified Acupuncturist

Jon is fully licensed by the State of New York and the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncturists.

He trained for four years at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) in New York studying both Herbs and acupuncture. After graduation, he spent seven years working with Dr Charles Gerson at the Mind Body Digestive Center.

His passion is “knotty” cases where the answer is not readily apparent. Jon prefers the light Japanese style of acupuncture which he learned from Hideo Takahashi. He uses a modified Dashin system on his most complex cases. He has performed almost 15,000 treatments since 2001. He has worked with patients with issues ranging from infertility to Crohn’s disease, to simple back pain.

In his free time Jon competes in ultra and mud races and recently finished third out of 1100 runners at the MudmanX competition and 2nd at the NJ trail series 100K. His favorite race is the Bear mountain 50 miler. Jon also studied Tai Chi with Master Don Ahn.

Senna Washington,
RN, LAc, Certified Acupuncturist

When I was a nursing student at Lenox Hill Hospital during the labor and delivery rotation, there was a patient who was in labor and having difficulty pushing her baby out. The baby just would not come out. So, I stood at her bedside, talking to her to keep her calm, and counted with her to time the pushes and then, the baby came almost instantly. For me, that was the start of realizing the human body can do amazing things when it is relaxed and given the right conditions. After nursing school, I decided to study acupuncture to further my understanding of healing. I am always excited to learn more about healing to help my patients.
